How We Met
Our love story first began in Toronto, back in 2014. We were introduced to each other by a common friend. We have no idea who or what each other looks like. It was a blind date that ended up in love at first sight. It took a couple of dates before committing to a relationship. But it was that specific “train ride” that really gave us the feeling of caring and respect. A few days later, while watching the movie “A Fault In Our Stars” he asked me to be his girlfriend. We then became a couple, and for over 6 years of dating our love for each other gets stronger every day.
How They Asked
Thanksgiving Monday – October 12, 2020. A day where I thought was just a normal day. We had a spare time to stroll and take pictures at a park. So we thought, why not go to the park where we always wanted to visit. We have been planning on going to this park a few times now but every time we go to the area, we always get lost.
So, when we finally got there we exchanged taking pictures of each other around the park, talked, and walked. Then we went to the main area where the stage was, we started taking pictures again. When he was showing me the pictures, he told me to take a few steps back for a whole body shot and I did… when I turned around to look at him. He faced me and got down on one knee… He told me how much he loves me and that he wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, and asked me to marry him. I was completely shocked. We both started crying – happy tears.
And I said YES!
We kissed and then he placed the ring on my finger. Little did I know, Mark had hired a few photographers and they were secretly taking photos and videos of us from a distance and up close throughout the entire proposal.
We can’t wait for this exciting new chapter to begin!
