We met about a year ago at a Brazilian church party. This is actually the church I attend, and Paulo got invited to go through a friend of his. We were actually introduced because my mom noticed that him and his friends were not interacting with others at the party much. So we started chatting, ended up dancing together, and the rest is history…
how they asked
We were getting ready to move in together into a new apartment in a couple of weeks, when I got an email from the staff that we needed to do a walk-through. So Paulo and I went, and when I opened the door he had the entire apartment decorated with flowers, balloons, and a “Marry me” sign. It was such a surprise and so lovely!
