How We Met
Mike and I met on a blind date with mutual friends. Well, it was a blind date for him because I had no idea that he would be there. It was two nights before I was heading back to school from Christmas break my freshman year of college, and we instantly hit it off. We stayed in touch over the next few weeks and he came to visit me for a weekend at a school where we went on our first adventure to a mountainous state park near the university I attended. That was 3 years ago.
How They Asked
Mike and I were out in Colorado visiting my cousin’s and their new baby. We decided to go on a horse-drawn sleigh ride dinner through the mountains in Breckenridge, Colorado. When we got through the mountains and arrived at the cabin where we would have dinner, Mike asked me to take a picture with him in front of the sleigh. After taking a picture I turned to him and he was down on one knee, asking me to marry him.
