How We Met
I met Michael through a mutual friend towards the end of year 12 at a birthday party. He had a quiet nature and I was very outgoing and bubbly which is quite the opposite. Well, I guess opposites attract. After many texts back and forth, it was obvious we had some good chemistry!
How They Asked
I was told that we were going to spend my birthday weekend together. Michael didn’t mention where we were going but I was told to dress up and be ready for an exciting day. We arrived at a beautiful garden in Sydney overlooking the harbour. As we approached the proposal spot, I saw the beautiful setting with roses and a sign saying will you marry me. Next thing I knew he was on his knee asking me to marry him – to which I said YES!
