How We Met
Justin and I first met on an online dating app back in October of 2015. We exchanged numbers and did all the awkward icebreakers to learn about one another except, it wasn’t awkward at all. That’s when I knew, and I totally believe in everyone having their soul mate and when you know you know. Well, after talking for a few days we agreed to meet up and finally had a couple small dates. And let me tell you, every time I would go to meet Justin I would get butterflies, my chin would chatter, I was a nervous wreck because I couldn’t believe I found this man who did all the things.
He’s a let me get the door for you, take his shirt off his back to stay warm, kiss on the forehead kinda man we all dream of. Two weeks later, he met my parents and on November 11, 2015, he asked me to be his. From that day forward it has been the best decision of my life, and I have never been so infatuated with another human, he truly takes my breath away.
how they asked
It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon, I had just gotten off from work and went home to change and meet him and some of our friends at Laurita Winery in New Jersey for drinks. Everyone was already there so when I pulled up I was told to come on in where my friend walked me inside and my sweet fiancé was standing there all red and nervous; he took my hand pulled me into the center of the floor and mumbled all the reasons why he wanted to spend the rest of his days loving me and as soon as I said YES!!!!
I heard all of our family and friends on the second floor watching the entire thing and we both were in tears. There was this beautiful table he set up with sunflowers, pictures of all our adventures over the years and I couldn’t have asked for a more magical day. We got to share this moment with our families and friends, take beautiful pictures at the winery and continue to say “I can’t believe this is really happening” over and over to one another. This man goes above and beyond to see me smile and now I get to smile every day knowing I get to spend forever with him by my side.
