How We Met
It started a little over 2 years ago at York Castle high school in St.Ann Jamaica. I was in my third year of teacher’s college and was doing teaching practice at the high school he was working, of course a new “college” student was in the staffroom so he came up to me and introduced himself and I guess we hit it off from there (with the help of some super Mario game that really attracted me?) I did about a month at the school then went back to college where I lived on campus and somehow we lost contact for a few months, fast forward to a few months later I ended up at the same school AGAIN (destiny right?) At that point we decided we were never losing contact again and that decision blossomed into the best of our lives. We left Jamaica a little after I graduated college and we now live and work in Japan. I didn’t know God would bless me with the perfect husband but he did and I’m happy! We are happy!
how they asked
I came home from work on the night he proposed ready to prepare dinner and go to bed early but he had plans up his sleeves. I can remember a few days before the proposal telling him that he was acting suspicious (little did I know) anyway he was persuading me to walk to a nearby park and of course I was hesitant because it was night time, but my mom always told me to trust your partner so of course I dropped dinner and we went to the park.
After walking around for a few minutes Adam started talking about how much he loved me and telling me how much this was the greatest love he had ever felt in all his life, he then popped out some flowers(from a bag I thought water was in to keep us hydrated while we walk) and he dropped to his knee, at this point I was crying the ugly cry but still asking him if this was for real…. he said “look down to see how serious I am” I looked down and there it was THE RING OF MY DREAMS. I said YES and the rest is history. Just the two of us intimate and holding hands no cameras no distraction, it was PERFECT. I will treasure this moment forever. We took pictures the following day. Cannot wait to be Mrs. Webb??
