How We Met
We met through friends during the COVID lockdown period. One of my friends recommended that I talk to a guy that she knew through someone. From the moment we started talking it just felt so right. The conversation flowed so easily and there was some real connection there. Within a few days, we decided to meet and when we both saw each other I just knew that he was the one. We couldn’t take our eyes off each other and I just instantly knew that I was in love with him and so did he. Our first date ended with us both deciding that we no longer needed to find anyone because what we had been searching for for so long was finally found, and that was each other. We’re both still so madly in love with each other to this date.
How They Asked
Kartik wanted to go away for the long weekend so he organized a trip to the Blue Mountains. He asked me to get ready for dinner. I thought we would be going straight to dinner but he took me for a drive about half an hour away and I was very confused. We ended up on a beautiful farm area where he told me that he wanted to go for a walk.
As soon as we started walking I saw some photographers and I just knew that something special was about to happen. He took me up near a church where there was a beautiful set up of roses, candles, and my favourite ‘fairy lights’.
He got down on one knee and told me how much he loves me and how we will love me for a thousand years to come. It was perfect, I wouldn’t have imagined it any other way.
