How We Met
Karter and I have known each other forever. We actually grew up in the same town and were in the same class throughout the school! It wasn’t until high school that we finally started to notice each other. Two of our friends thought we would be a cute couple and encouraged us to go on a double date with them. Since that night in 2013, we have been in love since. The picture included was our very first picture together!
How They Asked
May 23rd was supposed to be my college graduation. Due to COVID-19, it was canceled and I was pretty bummed out about that. My wonderful family planned a surprise at-home graduation ceremony for me. The ceremony included music, speeches from all my family members, a solo from my little niece, and closing remarks from Karter.
I was in awe of the kind words he was sharing, but I had no idea what was coming. After he said finished talking about my academic accomplishments, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was the picture-perfect day and we are beyond excited to begin our lives together!🥰
