How We Met
Michael and I met in fifth grade – but our love story doesn’t start until 13 years later. We went to the same elementary, middle school, high school, and undergrad at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) but our paths rarely crossed. It wasn’t until Doctorate of Physical Therapy school that we decided “well we better become friends now because it seems fate wants us to”! After anatomy cadaver study sessions, restaurant and brewery outings with friends, and runs around the city together we fell in love. The rest is history. Now we spend our days treating patients as physical therapists and sharing our experiences!
How They Asked
I had NO idea the proposal was happening and was in shock! He tricked me down to the dock by saying there were cute baby otters swimming in the water and then proposed. There was a completely hidden photographer to capture the moment as well. It rained throughout the session and engagement but I hardly even noticed I was so happy!
