how we met
I was passing through Farmington, Missouri when we matched on bumble. I(Nargiza) was driving down to celebrate fourth of July with my dad in Cape Girardeau. The next four or five days I talked to Jake non-stop on Bumble and we scheduled a date for that upcoming Saturday in Columbia. We met in person for the first time at Shelter Garden in Columbia, MO and proceeded to have an eight hour date there and various other places throughout Columbia.
how they asked
Jake wanted to show the ring to the most important people in his life first, his mom and grandpa, and then propose. We also talked to my parents about it and received their blessing. I didn’t know exactly when Jake would propose but we went on this trip to Branson and he was adamant about not proposing in Branson so when we got back we went to get some wings at D Rowe’s and Jake was like “We should go to Shelter Garden” which is where we first met and that’s when I knew he was about to propose. When we arrived at Shelter Garden all of their gates were closed but we found an unlocked gate in the very corner and Jake proposed by a statue of a little girl. One of the easiest yeses of my life!
