How They Asked: I had known for a while that I wanted to propose to my girlfriend of 6 years Naomi for a while, and I had so many ideas of how I envisaged the magical moment going. I decided that I wanted to meet Naomi somewhere in London which meant a lot to us both as we have shared many happy memories there: Hungerford Bridge.
I told Naomi (who was pregnant at the time with our first baby) that we were going to a hotel for some drinks and lunch. During the lunch, I excused myself and arranged for the waiter to give Naomi an envelope with a letter inside telling her to get into the awaiting taxi.
Whilst in the taxi, I had arranged for the driver to hand her an ipad with a message from me telling Naomi how much she means to me and how excited I was (still am) about our gorgeous baby. I had it arranged that Naomi would be dropped at one end of the bridge whilst I was at the other.
A flash mob of singers also joined Naomi on the bridge with each one handing her another rose, they were singing our favourite song ‘Just the Way You Are’ by Bruno Mars. As Naomi walked from one end I walked from the other, when she eventually reached me in the middle holding what was by this point a gorgeous bouquet of red roses.
It was at this moment, surrounded by all of the singers and passers by who had stopped to watch, I got down on one knee and finally asked Naomi to marry me. Obviously there were lots of tears (only happy ones) and she said YES!
Our afternoon couldn’t have been more magical.
Naomi said: Noah really excelled. I had no idea. Mad at him for leaving me in a restaurant, but love him for creating such a unique proposal that I will treasure forever. Hope you like our video.
