How We Met
Pavan and I always knew of each other until Pavan showed his interest in me. We finally connected with each other and went on our first date.We met up for drinks and had an instant connection. I even asked our waiter to take a picture of us because I knew this was different. Weeks turned into months and months turned into years. Therest is history.
How They Asked
Pavan and I had been dating for 3 years before he got down on one knee. I knew from our first date that he was the person I was going to marry.
On March 8th, we had flown out to Phuket, Thailand. Every holiday we go on, we plan surprise days for eachother where Pavan plans one day and I plan another day and we don’t tell eachother what we’re doing until we get to the destination. This time, I knew what one part of Pavan’s surprise day consisted off because it was at our hotel and our check-in person had mentioned it.
On March 11th, it was Pavan’s surprise day. In the morning, we chilled on the beach and did some swimming and kayaking. In the late afternoon, we were getting ready for our sunset picnic on the beach. Once we arrived, I looked down at the beautiful set up with the blue sky and Ocean in the background. At this point, I was in tears because I felt what was coming.
The beachwas covered in flowers, candles, and lights. I have never seen anything so beautiful in my life. He walked me through the petals until we were standing in the big purple heart where he went down on one knee and told me that he can’t imagine his life without me and asked me to marry him. I shed many tears and said “YES”.
It still feels like a dream and was the best day in my life. When I look at him, I see everything and more that I could have ever asked for in my life partner. He is my best friend and soulmate and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him!
