How We Met
Harnish and I met at the young age of 13 in Savannah, GA. Harnish was fun, outgoing & a social butterfly and I was the complete opposite. I was more interested in making honor roll, attending extracurricular activities, & F.B.L.A. meetings. We remained acquaintances throughout high school and undergrad before eventually losing touch and moving on with our lives. Couple of years later we ran into each other at a friends wedding and sparks began to fly instantly! The rest, as they say…is history.

It all happened when Harnish tricked me into thinking he would be proposing during our weekend getaway to Rosemary Beach. I was so fascinated with the getaway that I thought nothing much of the perfect evening he had planned. Once we arrived at the restaurant, we grabbed a quick drink and decided to go outside to watch the beautiful sunset. Nothing seemed suspicious until we reached a gazebo overlooking the Savannah River where he began to tell me how thankful he was to have me in his life. It ended with him on his knee asking me to marry him. I said, “yes”, of course!
