how we met
We both work in healthcare-I’m a nurse and Larry is a doctor. We met while I was working night shift and Larry and I shared a patient together. Larry was a second year medical resident through UCONN and I was a newer nurse on an intermediate care unit. Even through my sleepy eyes I noticed his cute smile, and he was so laid back and friendly, so I friended him on Facebook, and then he asked me out on a date!

Larry proposed on November 15,2019 in the adorable seaport town of Mystic, CT. Mystic was where we went on our first weekend getaway, so it has always remained sentimental. It was sunset, and when we were all alone on a bench on the dock overlooking the water, he got down on one knee and popped the question! I was surprised, and in shock for a good ten minutes and then the tears and excitement hit when he told me he had called my Mom for her permission. A man working in the post office nearby witnessed the whole thing, and came running out to congratulate us-so he was the first person who knew! Larry had champagne, and dinner reservations and we made phone calls from the adorable B&B that looked right out onto the “engagement bench.” It was the perfect engagement, just the two of us.
