how we met
Misha’s mom was in town for a weekend, and it was a Friday night. Shabbat starts on Fridays, and both Aaron, Misha and Nancy ( Misha’s Mom) attended. While everyone was taking their seats, Aaron secretly spoke to Nancy and mentioned to her, ” I am going to date your daughter.” Misha had no idea, and sat down 3 empty chairs next to Aaron. There were two words that changed our lives, and it was Nancy saying, ” Scoot down”. Misha and Aaron then sat next to each other and the rest was history.
Our relationship is so special because we are best friends. We don’t argue- we talk about it. We never lie – we do not have secrets. We always have each others best interest with everything we do, whether that person is there or not. Our bond allows us to have laughs every day, adventures doing nothing, and a partnership that makes us the best team around.

It was a wonderful surprise! Aaron planned for our family and closest friends to be waiting for us at our house to surprise us with celebration and love. It was the best party I ever attended. Not only did we have all of the people we love around us that same night, he had the whole weekend planned. We had a beautiful brunch, with menus with our names on it! Then a fun dinner with everyone still celebrating. It was an absolute magical weekend. I had my parents and best friends, and he had his parents and best friends here. We don’t live near anyone so everyone surprised me and flew in. He planned it so well!
