While we feel many of the proposals on HowTheyAsked set the bar pretty high, this proposal is out of this world. Ryan Serhant, real estate broker on the hit Bravo TV Show “Million Dollar Listing New York” took things to the next level when he shut down Times Square this past Sunday morning to propose to his girlfriend Emilia Bechrakis. You read that right, shut down Times Square!
Emilia said yes, and with the Bravo cameras there to capture it all we can’t wait to watch it on next season of Million Dollar Listing NY.
Ryan was very grateful to all those who helped him with this huge feat, captioning his proposal photo on Instagram with, “I need to say thank you to the the help of 50 NYPD officers, the Mayor’s office, and the Times Square Alliance. We had the heart of this city completely to ourselves. Like I’ve always said… GO BIG OR GO HOME.”
Not only did Ryan go big with his proposal, he definitely went big with the engagement ring. Emilia received a gorgeous, custom-made, radiant-cut diamond. You’ve definitely outdone yourself Ryan, Emilia is one lucky lady.
