Five years ago on Halloween, I told Connor I loved him. This Halloween I was told my sister in law wanted some photos of her and me with my daughter. We had a cute little shoot through the woods and then all of a sudden I saw Connor standing there.
I will never forget that moment. He was standing on the dock waiting for me. I was so overwhelmed and just kept asking “What are you doing!” Even though I knew this was it, he was proposing!!
He had beautiful pumpkins that spelled out will you marry me and brought me to him on the dock. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I could not stop the tears. I said, of course, I will and he gave me the most beautiful ring.
I had fantasized about this moment since we first started dating. We have had so much good fortune this past year, welcoming our daughter into the world, getting dream jobs, our first place together and now our promise to forever be together. It was one of the most magical days ever!
