Mario have known each other since we were 13. 18 years to be exact. We have been officially together for 10 YEARS! To this day he will say that he knew back then that we would end up together. On my birthday 12/29, we were going to go out for dinner. He asked if I wanted my gift and I said yes. He gave me a jewelry gift box and i immediately thought “Oh my lord! HE’S GOING TO PROPOSE!”. I opened the box and it was a bracelet. I was bummed and I tried to hide it. I hugged him and said thank you. I turned around to hide my disappointed face but he pulled out the ring from his pocket and kneeled on one knee. I just started crying! I mean 10 years is a REALLY long time! He said that he loved me and that he was so grateful that i put up with so much for so long. He then asked me to be his wife and of course i said yes! I am believer that the longer you wait for something, the more you appreciate it when you get it, because anything worth having, is definitely worth waiting for.
