How We Met: A dream come true. My fiancé and I have known each other since 2009, but have each been in other relationships. Until one fateful day last October, when I ‘Liked’ a photo on his Facebook of his adorable twin nephews. Since then, my fiancé and I have been inseparable. Last August, we traveled to Portugal. Our first night in Albufeira, Algarve we spent our night together on the beach watching the sunset…we shared our thoughts of the future, and what we wanted.
how they asked: In December, he treated me to a trip to Naples, Florida for my birthday. Part of my birthday gift was a romantic dinner on the beach in Naples. Once again, we watched the sunset and talked about the events that have taken place this past year, and we each said how we can’t imagine spending the rest of our lives with anyone else. Little did I know, that my birthday gifts did not stop there.
Next thing I know, he’s holding my hand and telling me how our first night in Albufeira, Algarve, while the sun was setting and he was looking over at me, he knew that I was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with…that moment will be forever my favourite memory.
