How We Met
We met off a dating app(which I swore I’d never try) and our first date was to a coffee shop followed by walking along the water and sitting on a bench at a park. The rest was history!
How They Asked
We went to Jockey’s Ridge State Park(NC) which is notorious for the biggest sand dunes on the east coast, that are beautiful. Owen, his brother Alex, and I were walking around snapping photos having a great time. We were on one of the tallest sand dunes and I went to take a panorama photo. When I turned, Owen was down on one knee but he couldn’t get the ring out of his pocket.
He then turned it into a joke and said something like “wouldn’t that have been such a neat photo!” My response: NOT FUNNY. We then continued to walk to another sand dune and he proposed 5 minutes later! His brother Alex captured some great photos and we then celebrated with ice cream followed by champagne with friends and a nice dinner!
