How We Met
I met Chris about 5 years ago at a bar in our local bowling alley. Neither one of us wanted to be there that night, and I had been there for someone else! Long story short, I left without giving Chris my number and he had to resort to finding me on Facebook the next day.
How They Asked
We were on a mini weekend getaway to the beach and while walking on the boardwalk before dinner, Chris told me he had a surprise for me. Although I had been waiting for a proposal, I was certain that this was not that surprising. He managed to get my best friend to meet us on the boardwalk which I thought was the surprise and while she was taking our picture and simultaneously videotaping, Chris told me he had a question to ask me.
I realized that IT was happening, I even said no before he actually got down on one knee and asked me to marry him because I was taken by surprise. I said yes though! Then Chris surprised me with our families and a mini engagement party to celebrate!
