How We Met
Saxxon and I met at work 3 years ago. Every year on our anniversary, instead of buying gifts, we decide on a big trip to take together. Since we are both very career-focused, taking a trip together helps us reconnect and focus all of our attention and energy on each other, not to mention we get to experience something new and exciting together every year. For our first anniversary, we went to Punta Cana. On our second anniversary we went to the Amalfi Coast in Italy, and this year we spent two weeks in Greece, visiting Santorini and Mykonos.

On the night of our anniversary, Saxxon booked a restaurant called The Sphinx, which has one of the best views on Santorini of the famous sunset. He made sure we had a table at the very front of the restaurant,with the best view. Since the restaurant was in the side of the mountain, the rest of the tables were behind us and going up the mountain, so the whole restaurant could see our table. Finally, Saxxon asked the waiter to take our picture. (He had told the waiter of his plan before -hand). After the first picture, Saxxon turned to me and told me I was the love of his life, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
I of course said yes! The whole restaurant clapped, and we will forever have the most amazing moment documented thanks to the gracious waiter!
It was definitely the trip of a lifetime!
