How We Met
I first met Harrison on January 01, 2016, at a New Year’s Eve party in Downtown Mobile. Right away he started making me laugh, and we immediately clicked. After a few months of getting to know one another, I finally let him take me on a date. Our first date was at a Chris Young concert at the Wharf in Orange Beach, Alabama. I had never been so happy, and this was the night I knew I wanted Harrison to be part of my life.
How They Asked
Harrison popped the question on the West End Beach in Dauphin Island, Alabama. I know you are probably thinking I knew it was coming, but I had no clue. Harrison’s sister-in-law, Kathryn, is a professional photographer. I’ve taken pictures for her before, so it wasn’t out of the ordinary when she asked me if I could take some pictures for her portfolio.
I’m also a makeup artist specializing in Bridal, so we planned on getting a few close up shots of my makeup for the new website I just launched. As we were taking pictures, Harrison somehow managed to walk up to me and tap me on the shoulder without me realizing he was behind me.
At first, I was confused as to why he was there, but then it all made sense when he got down on one knee. July 3rd, 2020 became the best day of my life, the day I said yes!
