How They Asked
We woke up early on New Year’s Eve to watch the sunrise on our Florida vacation. I made mimosas for us and we walked to where the ocean and sand met for a romantic view of the sunrise over the Atlantic.
As the sun was rising, Adam dropped to one knee, held up the ring, and asked, “Megan, will you marry me?” It was as if time stood still for that moment. Of course, without hesitation, I put my arms around him and exclaimed, “Yes!”
