How We Met
My fiancé Kyle & I met through a mutual friend the summer before my freshman year of college at Arizona State. He was already going into his junior year of college at Michigan State. We both grew up in the same hometown. The summer we met, we immediately clicked and realized we had a lot of shared interests. As the summer ended, we realized that if we wanted to continue dating, we would be doing long distance 2,000+ miles apart from each other. We decided to give the long distance thing a shot and the rest was history !!
How They Asked
Kyle and I planned a Europe trip to spend our 5 year dating anniversary in Santorini, Greece. On July 7th, Kyle hired a professional photographer to take sunset photos of us around the island. Little did I know, the photoshoot ended up at the most beautiful venue with candles, flowers, a gazebo with twinkling lights, and big block letters that read “Be My Wife”. As Kyle walked me toward the beautiful venue, he lead me in front of the block letters and got down on one knee at sunset and asked me to be his wife. It was the most perfect and unforgettable moment of my life! After Kyle proposed, he handed me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers and we were given champagne to celebrate. Then we were led to the gazebo with twinkling lights where we had the most amazing dinner.
