How We Met
Brendon and so grew up within 10 minutes of each other. We even went to the same preschool and high school without having spoke one word to each other. One night, Brendon and I were at the same bar in Boston. We drank, danced and talked the whole night. It must’ve been Brendon’s serenade and commitment to singing the song Call Me Maybe that convinced me to go to dinner three weeks later with him. :)
how they asked
Brendon and I had wanted to run a half marathon together. We finally planned a trip to Disney to run the Wine and Dine Half Marathon in November, 2013. After finishing a 13.1 run in torrential downpours, we made our way through the crowds to what I thought was a hunt to find our parents. I suddenly found myself sitting on a bench while Brendon played a video for me. He had told me the video was a message from my sister so I had thought nothing of it. As the video went on, I became overwhelmed, confused and excited. After the video was done, Brendon pulled a box out of the running pack he had just finished the race with. He took my hand and led me to a spot in front of the Epcot ball. He got down on one knee.. And the rest is history.
