how we met – her version
I met Mike (Hermilo) at a nightclub (I know, worst place to meet someone) during a Latin night event. When Mike asked me to dance for the first time the conversation was very short:
I asked him: “well do you know how to dance? “
And he answered: “I will try to keep up”
As soon as we started dancing he blew me away! He was an amazing dancer! Little did I know that he had been watching me dance and waiting to dance with me.After our first dance together, we danced the rest of the night and we haven’t been apart since. I call it love at first dance!

We took a trip to Sandals Montego Bay, Jamaica to celebrate my birthday. On the second night there, August 7, 2016, I scheduled a candlelight dinner on the beach as a “romantic gesture” (at least that’s what she thought).
As we were getting ready for our dinner, I strategically placed a scrapbook on the bed with a note that said, “sit down on the bed and read this.” I had hidden a camera in the room to record her reading it because I wanted to catch every emotion as she looked at the book.
The scrapbook described a few reasons why I love her, and it ended with an invitation to our dinner. I did all of this because I wanted her to have an idea of what was about to happen so the suspense would build. She was then escorted down to the beach where I was waiting for her in my Marine uniform.

our sandals experience
Our experience at Sandals Montego Bay Resort was just perfect. The staff at the resort was very attentive and professional. When I booked the candlelight dinner I let them know that I was using this venue as an opportunity to propose.
We had a butler assigned (Mr. Ricky) to take care of us during the candlelight dinner. He went to our hotel room to go pick her up and bring her to the candlelight dinner at the gazebo. The staff responsible for the video put a microphone on me so the video could be heard clearly and the photographer (Mr. Omar) was positioned to capture every second. Mr. Ricky took care of us for the rest of the evening always at a close proximity to take care of any need.
The following day most of the staff at the resort seemed to know that we had just gotten engaged and made it point to congratulate us. We had an awesome time.
I would definitively recommend Sandals for any kind of romantic event. They were amazing, took care of all the details, and allowed us to enjoy our vacation by leaving all of the stress out from putting this kind of event together.
