How We Met
Rob and I actually met through friends when we were both in our teens. I had asked our mutual friend Michael who was dating my step sister at the time about Rob and one night he surprised me by going to his house. From what I was told he told Rob someone wanted to meet him, so he got ready and came out. He had no idea it was me. That night we went to the Paterson Falls and spent all night talking and getting to know each other. That night we also had our first kiss. Who would’ve thought 14years later it would be the same place we would have our engagement pictures.

Rob proposed on Mother’s Day. He had set it up so we can do family pictures since we were long over do. I also wanted pictures with my mom. We were taking regular family portraits and my oldest Ethan’s walks out with a gift from him and his brother Jaxon. They were a pair of earrings I had been wanting for a while. Afterwards we continued taking pictures. Rob tells Ethan, “It’s time to give mommy her other gift.” I screamed yay more gifts. Ethan walks out with an Edible Arrangements box which I absolutely love and didn’t think anything of it.
He started helping me to open it. When I opened it on the inside it has cupcakes that said, “Will you marry me? Yes/No.” Ethan asked, “Mommy will you marry my daddy?” I started crying and screaming OMG it took me a good 5 or more minutes to get it together. Once I got it together I said YES! It was definitely the best Mother’s Day I will remember aside from my first Mother’s Day with our boys. It was a total surprise and I loved every minute of it. Afterwards we went to the Paterson Falls where we had our first kiss and took some engagement pictures.
