How We Met
We were working together in a restaurant in 2016 and became close and trusted friends. A year later we got back in touch working together again and went on our first date.
How They Asked
I had never been to the Houston Renaissance Festival before so for my birthday, we decided to check it out. We had loads of fun and even dressed up. After spending the whole day there with our closest friends (one who happens to be a professional photographer) and my sister, we went walking on a trail called the Enchanted Meadow at sunset and he proposed there with his grandmother’s ring. I had a feeling it was coming, though!! He was so nervous and fidgety the entire time!
