I met Jessica at a party where I was the DJ. She was standing in front of the crowd the whole night. I couldn’t get my eyes off of her. After the party we spoke to each other. The next day we messaged on Facebook and I asked her on a date. We listened to music I liked and she was so interested in that. She listened to it and I think she fell in love with it, just like me. We talked the whole night and there was one moment when I couldn’t stop looking into her eyes. From that moment I knew she was the one.
I was on holiday with friends (without her) and wanted to bring a gift home for her. I found a little purse inscribed with the words, “follow your heart“. I had to have it. After a few months she told me that those words will belong to her for a long time ago.
how they asked: We love to travel so we wanted to go to New York City. And there was the PLAN! I wanted to pop the question in Central Park. More than one year before the trip I started to get informations about the location. On a blog I found a photograph by Sascha Reinking, that shot proposal pictures in NYC. After contacting her via email, we started a contract. It was really cool to see how that works. Sascha was unbelievable. She told me where we could eat, drink and organized the whole thing with me. I checked many restaurants and selected three. After long, hard weeks (I didn’t know which one to choose) I made my decision.
The day had come and I was so excited. We walked through CentralPark to go to the Natural History Museum (Haha). When we were at Gapstow Bridge I saw Sascha standing in front of us. That was the moment. From that moment on I was in trance. We took some pictures and than I started with my speech (I stuttered the whole time) and fell on my knee. She said YES! We fell into each other’s arms.
After that we had a photo shoot with Sascha and walked through Central Park. We had a wonderful time.
I can’t wait to marry her!
