How They Asked
We went for a walk in the gardens and he arranged for my sister and her husband, who were already in Asheville, to meet up with us there. Unknown to me it was so they could capture his proposal. We all walked down to the Creekside rocks and he asked me if I knew what was really going on and I said no. He got down on one knee, almost falling into the creek, and he said “this has been a long time coming, etc. Will you marry me?” And of course, I said yes!!!
