How We Met
Tyson and I met in High school and have dated through college and for almost 13 years now.
How They Asked
My parents have a Christmas Eve party every year so we eat, drink, and be merry! Tyson’s whole family, my whole family, and some family friends came! We play a lot of games, so this year we played the “hearing things game.” He was reading the words to me and I had to guess (which he is lucky I let him because I am the better at annunciations.) Tyson read a few cards and then he got to one that he made up, “there is a surprise for you in the tree.” I couldn’t guess it but finally did. At first, I did not believe him because my dad puts gifts in our tree for us to find so I figured he was just talking about that. After being stubborn, he led me to the tree and I had to find an ornament that had my ring box in it. He got on one knee and proposed!
