How We Met
I was going to school at NDSU in Fargo ND and Colin lived in Mandan ND. He and a bunch of friends were on a snowboarding trip and all decided to start snap chatting me one night. Colin and I just never stopped. I came home for Christmas break and we decided to meet in person and from that moment on we were inseparable. I would visit every other weekend and we would stay at my dorm ever chance he got! Now two years later we’re living together in Mandan with our pet bunny Ralph!

My best friend Peyton moved to Nampa, ID with her boyfriend Josh in Septemper 2015 and we’ve only had the chance to see eachother 3 times since. For spring break we decided to make the 15 hour drive and go visit them! Peyton is a photographer and wanted to get more pictures on her website that she just started so the plan was for us to take our pictures. We hiked up Bogus Basin and had a few spots along the way that were perfect for a photo shoot. At our first spot we took quite a few pictures and it started snowing the biggest most beautiful snowflakes as soon as we started, Peyton asked if we had any more pictures we wanted to take or outfits we wanted to change into and Colin said “well actually there’s one more thing” he got down on one knee in the most beautiful setting I could’ve imagined told me how much he loves me and asked me to be his wife!
Of course I said YES! Peyton was in on the whole plan with Colin so the rest of our photo shoot turned into our engagement pictures. I had the love of my life and my best friend surrounding me on an amazing day. A trip I will truly never forget!
