Wedding Proposal Ideas in The top of an Atlanta parking garage

How We Met

We actually met online, on Plenty of Fish! After talking online and texting, Connor asked if I wanted to meet in person so we went go-kart racing at Andretti. We then hung out for about a month and a half as friends doing everything from swimming at the lake, seeing movies, wandering around Centennial Olympic Park, and getting to know each other. Connor finally asked me on a real date at the end of May and we became boyfriend and girlfriend on June 12th, 2013. He got down on one knee in our friend’s driveway and asked me to be his girlfriend, it was pretty cute.

We’ve now become puppy parents to two precious pups and bought the cutest little home north of the city!

How They Asked

For the proposal, Connor pulled into the parking garage, which overlooks Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta, where we had our first kiss. We drove up to the top and got out to walk over to where our first kiss happened. Connor took my hands and reminisced about the six years we have been together. He asked if I remembered how he asked me to be his girlfriend… then he got down and asked me to marry him! I couldn’t stop crying. It was so sweet. Inside the personalized Mrs. Box he got me was a gorgeous ring made with my grandmother’s gorgeous diamond she gave me. After we had our little moment together, we took some pictures with the photographer, Eve. When pictures were done, we walked over to a nice restaurant where he had my mom, sister, and best friends waiting to celebrate with us! It was a perfect proposal and perfect night!
