How We Met
We were a Bumble success story! I was against dating apps for many years, but finally gave in, and in hindsight, so happy I did! I never would have thought I would meet my future husband online!
How They Asked
The proposal was nothing short of perfect! We had been planning a trip to Sedona for the thanksgiving weekend, and were debating whether to cancel or not, because my grandfather had just passed away. I decided I could use the trip after all, and Jesse told me not to worry about any of the details, he would be happy to plan it all for us. We flew to Phoenix early on the Friday morning after thanksgiving, and drove from there to Sedona. It was a beautiful drive with snow falling on the mountains. When we arrived, I was so surprised to find out that he had gotten us a beautiful suite at the most amazing resort nestled in between the red rock mountains. The weekend was full of adventures. Hiking, jeep tours, good meals, and massages at the resort spa. On the Sunday, I was told I had to get up early for one last surprise. I could not contain my excitement when I found out we were going on a hot air balloon ride — something I had always wanted to do. While I was soaking up the absolute beauty of the red rocks in sunrise, he grabbed a box of chocolate he had snuck in to our bag. He asked me to have a chocolate, and before I knew it, he was down on one knee. Inside the box of chocolates was the ring. I was so happy I was crying!
