Lou and Tim's Adorable Proposal Video

How We Met: Lou and I had been together for 7 years on the day of the proposal. We met at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2008 and had a chilled out Monday evening with a bonfire and marshmallows. We then on the Saturday after went to Yarmouth Pier and had a our first official date eating ice cream and watching the sunset.

We literally do everything together. We have lived together for 6 years, we have had a dog together for 3 years, we run, holiday cycle. We are literally inseparable.

how they asked: I had planned for for her Mum to set up a pretend dinner with her Mum’s best friend and daughter to which she totally fell for. They were due to arrive at 7:30pm in the meantime I had arranged for all her closest friends and family to meet me at 7pm on the Pier itself.

I had put the group of 40 into small groups of 3 and 4 and provided each with a posy of flowers. The idea being that with each group give her posy it would create a bunch. I had never given her flowers before, I had always given her things that would last, however this occasion deserved them.

As she walked along being greeted by friend and family and given a posy from each I had music provided by my friend on the ukulele and photographs and video taken by other friends.

Our beloved dog that we rescued 3 years before was ring bearer, the ring was attached to her collar.

All in all the proposal went down perfectly and Lou was overwhelmed.

She of course said yes.
