How We Met
We met at work in June of 2014. We were both working as physical therapy aides at Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital on the brain injury unit. Anthony helped me orient to the facility. One of my first days of work he took me down to the security area to get my photo ID badge. We worked for a few months together, then we finally started to hang out outside of work attending happy hours. We started dating shortly after!
how they asked
Anthony and Lindsay spent majority of their relationship doing long distance as they each fulfilled their dream to become a nurse and physical therapist. They spent weekends traveling and planning out times to see each other, all while stressed about school. Just this past summer, they moved in together while Lindsay completed her final year of PT school at home doing clinical rotations. To celebrate being done the “classroom” portion and moving in together, Anthony set up a vacation to Charleston, SC to view the solar eclipse at totality. Lindsay was extremely hesitant to spend money on another vacation, but she finally agreed. They woke up early on the day of the eclipse to get a good spot on the beach to view it. It was cloudy all day and they feared they wouldn’t be able to even see it. The sun started to come out around 2:00 pm and everyone was getting anxious. On Monday, August 21st on Folly Beach, SC, right when the skies cleared and totality occurred at 2:28 pm, Anthony proposed! Not only that, Anthony set up a private photo shoot that evening in downtown Charleston to celebrate. It was a once in a lifetime experience and proposal; a day we will never forget!
