How We Met

It all began on September 17, 2019, when Brian was interested in talking to Lilli, but she was not too sure about the entire situation. It did not take Brian long at all to shoot his shot two more times after not hearing from her. Brian mentioned political science and Lilli was ready to talk. Their conversation was familiar as if they had known each other their entire lives. Jumping into talking and slowly falling in love one day at a time.

On April 8, 2020, the world was in the middle of a global pandemic. The colleges were shutting down one by one. Lilli and Brian were both seniors waiting to finish their bachelor’s in Political Science worried about what was going to happen in the world next. Brian knew one thing at that time and it was that he did not want to lose Lilli in this lifetime. He asked her to be his girlfriend and she said yes. That year was not a normal year for dating as Lilli was out with knee surgery at end of the year and Brian was focused on not spreading COVID-19 to anyone.
Begin Again: I’ve been spending the last eight months, thinking all love does is break and burn and end. But on a Wednesday in a cafe, I watched it all begin again.
On January 8, 2021, it was a cold afternoon with snow flurries. Lilli and Brian decided to meet up for lunch. A story where neither of them gave an address but just thought they knew where they would meet off a location, it was not that simple. Lilli and Brian finally met and enjoyed catching up and eating pizza while little flurries of snow began to fall. This was the day Brian knew he could not live without Lilli. From this day on they could not spend weeks apart ever again. They adventure to Atlanta Braves games, Atlanta United matches, multiple state trips, and just numerous adventures.
How They Asked

On June 26, 2022, their life would change forever with just one simple question. Brian and Lilli spent the day on the Carnival Horizon. The day started with Brunch with Lilli’s mother and they made it to the front of the ship to drink Pina Coladas by 11 in the morning with the entire family. Brian’s mom was proudly announcing that she had won a photo shoot and that everyone has to be ready for 4 in the afternoon. They all got dressed up and made their way down to the piano bar. The photo shoot began and quickly moved to couples only and Brian got down on one knee and asked Lilli to marry him. She said yes. That day was a fairytale.
Paper Rings: I like shiny things, but I’d marry you with paper rings.
We are so excited to celebrate with our friends and family on November 17, 2023, our love story. I would marry him with a paper ring but we do not have to on our wedding day.
