For Christmas Eric surprised me with a plane ticket to San Francisco and I was shocked! Eric grew up in San Francisco and I was so excited to travel to such a special place with him. Three days later we flew to one of the most romantic cities in the world. We spent the next two days exploring the city, tasting wine, and taking in the beautiful sights of the Bay area. On our last night, Eric told me he was taking me to dinner and that our destination was a surprise. We arrived at a restaurant on the water overlooking the entire skyline of San Francisco. After an amazing meal, we walked out onto the balcony and Eric began to tell me how much he loved me. All of a sudden, my heart started to pound and I knew what was about to happen next. He got down on his knee, asked me to be his wife, and said YES! Afterwards we drove to the top of the Golden Gate Bridge to really take in the moment. Without a doubt San Francisco will be a special part of our lives forever.
