How We Met
We both live in Hawaii. Adam was the high school athletic trainer and I was the girl’s
varsity soccer assistant coach! Adam would always come to the girls’ soccer practices to see and talk story with me. It wasn’t until 3 months later that we finally went out on our first date in January 2016! We went hiking, got poke bowls, and chilled out at Diamond head lookout to watch the surfers. From there, we were inseparable!
How They Asked
Almost 4 years later, Adam proposed by recreating our first date. It was raining that morning, so instead of hiking, we worked out at home- had to get that sweat on!. We got poke bowls and ate at the exact same lookout! It was the sweetest and most thoughtful proposal ever! I pretended that I was surprised, but I secretly knew what was happening and even tried to look at Adam’s pocket for the ring box.
