How They Asked
A month prior to my fiancé proposing he asked me to help him with a gift he wanted to give his mother. She always mentions how she would love some new pictures of her three grown sons altogether. I love taking pictures and being very much “about that stuff” I agreed to help. It was October 27 and in NY the weather was really rainy and windy that day! I didn’t think much of it when Chris told me we were still taking pictures, as everyone has different schedules and it would be difficult to get us coordinated again if we canceled. I agreed and we met his brothers Daniel & Robert by the water in Yonkers. I took pictures of them for over 30 mins (which makes me laugh now, they had me so fooled.) Chris insisted I be in some photos and pose for one alone by myself.
I was slightly uncomfortable but I agreed because it was so cold and rainy I just wanted to get it all done. In the video, you can see I turn away thinking we are finished and his younger brother goes “ok got it” as I turned to see my love on his knee. It was the biggest surprise I had ever received!! It was also the most thought out surprise ever!
Following this huge proposal, he had organized a huge engagement party with both our families waiting at a restaurant nearby! I am still to this day in shock and I can’t believe the trouble he went through to make it so special! I am extremely lucky! Our wedding date is 9/20/19 and can’t come soon enough!!!
