How We Met
We are high school sweethearts and have been together for 7 years! I met Kyle when I was only 16 years old and it’s been the biggest blessing to grow through life with my soulmate by my side. From high school homecoming, proms, and Friday night lights, to college game days and sorority date functions, to nursing school and starting my dream job as a NICU nurse, Kyle has been by my side through all of it. Each chapter of our fairy tale keeps getting better and better and My heart is so full.

We found a crazy good deal on airfare, so we booked our trip to Greece! I had always dreamed of traveling to Santorini and exploring the Greek Isles! We did 2 nights in Athens, 2 nights in Mykonos, and 4 nights in Santorini. On the second night in Santorini, Kyle told me he wanted to take me to Imerovigli (the highest point in Santorini) to watch the sunset. When I did my research, I had also read that that was the best spot to watch the sunset so I couldn’t wait! We were just walking around, taking pictures, and enjoying the beauty of Santorini when we stumbled upon the infamous white walled/blue domed churches that you envision when you think of Santorini. Everything played perfectly into Kyle’s hand, because there was a bride and groom who had just gotten married, and the photographer blended right in. The bride and groom had a whole camera crew taking their wedding photos, and when they finished taking photos, we went up the stairs to take their spot and take our own pictures. It was the most beautiful location and before I knew it, Kyle was getting down on one knee.
It was then that I realized the photographer wasn’t with the bride and groom like I had assumed; she was there for us, as our photographer!!! Kyle had found her through reviews on TripAdvisor and had been in contact with her via email for months. She photographed the proposal and did our engagement photos from the proposal till sunset, all over Santorini. In that moment, my whole world completely stood still. It was magical and I still feel like I’m dreaming. I was balling my eyes out and it didn’t feel real! It was hands down the best day of my life.
