How We Met

Lauren: “We agreed to meet at a seafood restaurant called 2520 in Clemmons NC after talking on the telephone for a few weeks. I remember thinking Jamie seemed like a nice guy and I just had some inclination that he could have some potential. I could tell Jamie was very nervous, but he was very talkative and a total gentleman.”

How They Asked

Jamie: “I was a NERVOUS WRECK! I tried playing out the scenario in my mind days before the proposal and coming up with the perfect dialog for how I was going to propose. The original day the engagement was supposed to take place was canceled due to weather forcing us to reschedule for the following day. I was distraught and deeply upset, not to mention overwhelmed with emotion. We were able to reschedule the sailboat cruise for the following day. 30-45 minutes into the cruise the next day, I gave Dennis and his assistant the signal that I was making my move and they were there firing off with the cameras capturing it all!”
