How We Met
Benjy and I have been together for four years. We met through friends on our ultimate frisbee team. Benjy and I started as friends and loved hanging out with each other! Our friendship turned into a relationship. We adopted our beautiful dog, Izzy, and moved in together two years ago.
How They Asked
On June 19th, Benjy told me that we were going out to dinner with some friends. When we arrived at the restaurant, the waitress asked us if we would like some cocktails. Benjy excitedly said, “yes!” The waitress took us into the courtyard that was filled with beautiful flowers. Benjy got down on his knee and asked me to spend forever with him. Of course, I said, “yes!” I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him!
