how they asked
Stephen and I have been together for almost four years and we decided to take a long vacation to Hawaii. It was a bucket list item for both of us and we had the opportunity so we took it. On our second day in Maui, we were up early so we took the morning slow. Got breakfast went grocery shopping and then to the beach. I love the beach. I could live in the ocean.
Stephen knows my love for the beach but while we were there he was antsy and couldn’t sit still. We would go snorkeling off the beach and there was a sea turtle I kept trying to get on video so I was in and out of the water. When I tried to lay down he would bother me to get up and take a walk.
Then he kept saying let’s go for a hike. I was so confused as to why he was making me leave the beach so early but I rolled with it. We could always come back. Fast forward to the hike and we are descending down the side of this mountain and we come to this cliff overlooking the ocean and the Nakalele blowhole and he wants to take a picture. It’s a gorgeous view so of course, I obliged. With our luck, the camera would not work and I was getting frustrated and wanted to just keep going down to see the blowhole but he was persistent and we stayed and got the best picture of the two of us on top of the world.
