How We Met
Over 4 years ago, Paul and I met on a dating app that you’ve probably heard of — TINDER! Who would have thought I’d meet the person who was made for me on Tinder? It still shocking! I had the app downloaded, but deleted it. One day, while at work, one of my coworkers convinced me to download it again. Paul was one of the first guys to pop up as soon as I got back on. I swiped right, it was a MATCH! We talked through the app for a while until Paul asked for my phone number. From there, we texted a while then one night, Paul called me! We continued communicating almost every day for about 2 months then we finally decided to meet in person! We have been inseparable since the day we met. The rest is history!
how they asked
When we first met, I was living in Fayetteville, AR and Paul was living in Germantown, MD. We dated long distance for 11 months and we knew we both wanted to be in the same town. Dating long distance was hard, but it was worth it! After deciding we wanted to move to the same town, we both agreed on Nashville, TN! Paul grew up visiting his family in Nashville so its always held a special place in his heart. I had no ties to Nashville but I knew that it was a place I could call home and still be close to my family in Arkansas! Since moving to Nashville together in April of 2015, we have been inseparable. I knew from the moment I met Paul that he was someone special. In May of 2017, Paul got together with my parents and devised a plan to surprise me with a proposal! Before leaving for the trip my mom told me we would be taking professional family photos on the beach so we should all color coordinate.
The first night we were there, we set out to the beach to meet the photographer and get those pictures made! Unbeknownst to be, the three of them had a secret. In the middle of taking “family photos” Paul dropped down to one knee and asked me to marry him! I can’t tell you how excited I was and how long I had waited to hear him ask me that exact question! I can’t wait to start my life with him and become Mrs. Lacey Withrow!
Destin and the 30A area of Florida both have a special place in our hearts; since moving to Nashville, that area of Florida has been the perfect weekend getaway for us, it’s where we have attended numerous family vacations, and it’s where Paul proposed to me! We CANNOT wait to be back in Destin in May of 2018 with our closest friends and family members!! #Destin2beWithrow #WebbWithrowWedding
