How We Met

I was boarding my plane to Phoenix to move out of my apartment and move back home to New Jersey when I got a notification that I had a new bumble match. My bio said “just looking for someone to raise a dog with” and he responded to me saying “so what type of dog are we raising?” I bought WiFi on the flight so I could continue talking to him. He was so patient when I continued canceling on him every time he tried to schedule a date. When we finally met we just clicked. We met under the Little Italy sign in NYC. Since that moment we haven’t been able to get enough of each other.

How They Asked

Freddie and I were visiting his family in Texas for the weekend when he asked me to go on a date. We always go on cute dates to arboretums and pop up museums, so when he showed me the picture of where we were going, I didn’t think much of it! We got all dressed up as we usually do and he drove me to the Gaylord Texan. We were walking around taking in the views when some random photographer approached us. He told us he was waiting for his clients and asked if we would let him test the lighting on us. I was super confused and Freddie looked at me and said, “hey why not? Free photos for us babe!” So I went with it. So we were getting photos taken of us and the photographer asked Freddie to get on one knee and told me to act surprised like I just got engaged. He then opened his camera case and said “here is the prop” while handing Freddie a ring case. I was freaking out. Freddie got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I heard cheering behind me and looked to see that my whole family had flew to Texas to surprise me and be here for this special moment! Turns out this was his family photographer! My fiancé is in the military and we are getting married this December! I’m so excited to marry the man of my dreams!
