How We Met
Kyle and I met a few weeks into our freshman year of college. We had a statistics class together and one day before class started Kyle asked me “What is our professors name?” I told him, and secretly thought to myself that he used that as an excuse to talk to me. I’ve since found out two things; 1, he really did not know the professors name and 2, he sat between me and another girl because he figured one of us would talk to him. The rest is history.

We were on weekend getaway to our favorite place, Portland, Maine. After lunch at our favorite restaurant, we got coffee and dessert and walked to a nearby park. As we were sitting on a gazebo looking our over the ocean, we noticed a group of people in formal wear closer to the water taking photos. I turned (my back now towards him) and said “Oh! maybe it is a wedding, let’s crash! Maybe they will do a double ceremony!” and Kyle said “Let’s do it!” and when I turned back to him, he was on one knee. He said it was not how he planned but it could not let the moment pass!
