how they asked
It was a terrible start to a morning for me this one Tuesday and was supposed to head to my cousin’s daughters pre-school for an event. Of course with the morning I was having I didn’t want to go. He insisted that I go and it would hopefully take my mind off the terrible start to my day. I get to the school and everyone was acting strange but I didn’t think anything of it. After some sitting around upstairs I got asked to come downstairs to help with some things for the event. As I walked down the stairs I stumbled upon the posters the pre-k class was holding.
In complete pressure, I couldn’t read the signs. All of a sudden I look to my left and out comes my fiancé with his face completely red and the slightest tears he’s trying to hold back. He got down on one knee and held out the ring and I just completely lost it. Totally shocked and blown away, I couldn’t get the words out of my mouth to say yes. Instead, I stood there trying not to cry staring at him until finally, I screamed yes. He for once was able to keep a secret from me :)
