How We Met
I first met Kristie at a mutual friend’s party back in high school. We were both taken at the time so we didn’t think much of it. Fast forward about 5 years later – I met up with one of our mutual friends for my birthday. During dinner with our mutual friend, he mentioned that Kristie was single and thought I was cute (lol). At that moment I decided to get her number and reach out to her for our first date. This was March 28, 2013.
How They Asked
I went on a solo trip to Sorsogon City, the Philippines to visit my Gf’s(now fiancé ) family and grandmother to receive their blessings. I have never met them before but wanted their blessings before I popped the question. I knew that this would be a unique adventure since I was traveling alone and have never experienced the province life. I documented and recorded my whole trip to present to My fiancé who had no idea I went there until the moment I proposed. Enjoy!
